Health Guarantee:
At the time of sale, breeder believes the puppy is a healthy, sound, and a quality puppy that is current on all vaccinations. Puppy’s health is guaranteed for 3 days after pickup.
Buyer agrees to have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 3 days of pickup. If the veterinarian detects a life threatening health issue that cannot be corrected or controlled by medication within that period, a full refund of purchase price or a replacement puppy of equal value, if one is available, will be given upon return of the puppy and registration papers. Buyer must provide a written statement from the examining veterinarian detailing the health problem.
Things that are common illnesses in puppies will not be covered (e.g. kennel cough, Coccidia, common puppy worms) If the buyer fails to take the puppy to be examined by a licensed veterinarian within those three days, the contract is null.
Puppies’ hips & elbows are guaranteed for the first year from dysplasia caused by a genetic defect as deemed by 2 licensed veterinarians. Guarantee does not include dysplasia from, but not limited to the following: Poor nutrition, trauma, over supplementation, injury from jumping or falling, too much exercise, mistreatment, accidents not in breeder’s control.
Should the puppy develop dysplasia caused by genetic faults as outlined above, or any other life threatening disease, the breeder will have the following options:
A. The buyer may return the puppy to the breeder and the breeder will replace the puppy with another equal quality puppy when one becomes available. (within a year)
B. The buyer may decide to keep the puppy if they so wish, thus assuming all medical bills, potential problems and the breeder will be released from the constraints of the guarantee and the contract. However, as compensation the breeder will refund one half of the buyers original purchase price, to be paid to the buyer from the next available litter.
If for any reason you cannot keep your puppy sometime in the future, we ask that you contact us and we will try to help you find a home for him/her. Contract and warranty is non-transferable.
